Still sitting in her chair, Crystal looked around the room for anything that might give her a little light, but there was nothing in sight. She finally sighed and decided that chakra would be the best way. In her hand was a small ball of purple chakra that was lighting up the table area. She leaned over and read the letter, it simply told her that Kakashi was still on his mission.
She stood up and used the chakra ball to light the way to her room. The walls were painted her favorite color, blue. Crystal's bed was located at the far end of the room, under the window. Rain clashed the window, but at the same time, created a soft musical sound. She lay down and drifted off.

Naruto blinked at her changing expression, and he closed his eyes curiously, tilting his head to the side with a contemplative frown. Her smirk followed by her question confused him as to what she was up to; as well as calling Sasuke 'avenger brat'. He scratched the back of his head, almost unsure if he wanted to answer the question or not. "Uh... Hinata-chan's good. She's on a mission right now," he elaborated fairly vaguely, honestly not knowing how his wife really was. Both of them were always so busy, but she seemed to be happy with her life. He shrugged. "And I dunno. I haven't seen Ino or Sasuke-teme in a while," he replied to the second part of her question, breathing a soft sigh as he blinked open his eyes with another thoughtful frown. The jerk never bothered to visit or 'hang out' with him in their free time or anything. Probably obsessing with his kids and his brother... Nothing different. "I imagine he's not that much different than usual, though..." The blonde sighed as he glanced away from his pink-haired friend, crossing his arms behind his head and nearly shivering from the uncomfortableness and the sudden coldness on his skin from the shifting of his clothing. He decided he could hunt around the village for someone for Sakura... He would make it his new mission, and he adopted his own sly smirk. He could try to be funny and tell Lee a bunch of things, but that would be cruel to both of them. He wasn't... that mean.

It was nice to hear how her other friends were doing. She didn't mean to call Sasuke those words. I guess she still couldn't get over that he was now married to Ino and they had a son. I guess Sakura thought maybe that Sasuke would get together with her. But then again it was her own fault that she didn't have things the way that she wanted. She also didn't want Naruto to feel sorry for her relationship status. I guess that was not really important to her now. Now it was just improving her ninja and medcial skills. She smiled at Naruto sweetly.
Naruto please don't worry about me. I'll be ok with how I am now. Don't worry too much about me now. You have a family now. You should worry more for them than me. I mean I can take care of myself. Afterall I am Tsunade-shishou's apprentice, I think I can fend for myself for now.

Naruto's once-cheerful expression faltered into one of mingled panic and repentence. Though, luckily for him over the years, she seemed to have mellowed out a little from that 'call-me-a-bad-name-and-I'll-beat-your-face-in' stage. He didn't want to seem like he was watching out for her because he thought she couldn't handle herself; he just cared about her because they were friends! He flashed her a somewhat sheepish yet toothy grin as he shook his hands in front of him. "No, no! I don't think you can't handle yourself, Sakura-chan. I just want you to be happy and if I can do anything," he explained quickly, and realized that he probably didn't make the situation sound any different at all... He sighed to himself with a look of an almost comical embarrassment alight in his blue eyes. After all these years as Hokage, he did not become diplomatic at all when dealing with close friends. He shivered- half from her reaction, half from the cold. Why did it rain so much here? It was almost annoying... Ah, but Tsunade no baa-chan... She was a great woman and idol to Sakura, he knew. She passed down so much of her knowledge, strength- and temper...-, he hardly gave anything to him as a successor for the head of the village, and minus the sake, he became rather like her in slacking on paperwork until completely necessary and falling asleep. The village elders got very peeved... Nonetheless, she was respected, and Sakura looked like she could surpass her very soon. She may have already. He smiled sincerely this time. "I don't doubt you at all, Sakura-chan. It's just second nature to care about you..." The blonde shook his head, the water splashing from the tips like a wet dog shaking itself out. He grinned again, trying to change the subject quickly, and he pursed his lips in thought. "So great weather, huh?" was all Naruto could blurt out, much like his old self for lack of anything to say. Yes, he'd certainly learned to control his mouth with friends...

Sakura liked it that she still had a friend like Naruto. She just couldn't take it anymore. All her friends were mostly settled down with a family. Sakura just felt that her married friends should just let her go on with her life. She didn't want to be burden to them anymore. She didn't want to loose the friendship with them. She just felt that it was probably best if they went their different paths. Yes the weather was perfect for today. But for some reason Sakura felt like she was torn into two. But she knew that she had to say this for her own good. It wasn't right for a single person to hang out with a married person. She took a deep breath and stared at the sky and then back at Naruto.
Yes the weather is wonderful. But Naruto there is something that I must tell you. This pains her as much as it might pain him. But she had to let it out. Naruto I want to still to remain friends. But I just don't think that we should hang out together. You being married and have a kid. Then me being single and having no romantic relationship. I think that we should go our seperate ways. I want you to live out your dream as the Hokage. I just need to figure out what my path might be. She knew leaving Konoha would just be too much. But it was all for the best. I am leaving Konoha. And don't want you or Sasuke to come after me. Don't worry I shall return when I have find my path in life. There were some tears but she brushed them away. Goodbye Naruto. And then she left him there to seek out her own path.

Naruto's grin broadened at her agreement with his statement, but it faltered as quickly as it had appeared as he noted her torn and thoughtful expression. He stepped forward, hand extended to offer her some other form of comfort; he didn't want to leave her with this sadness alone. He knew what it could do to people; he knew what it was like to be alone and shunned, no one to love you. But so much good had happened to him; he was respected, he had friends, a family... And Sakura had her friends... but with no signficiant other, it must have been hard watching all those around her go their own ways with each other. His heart ached for her. Bright blue eyes filled with sadness and a distress like no other expressed since Sasuke had left, and the hand reaching out for her returned to him to clutch at his chest where his heart was. His brow furrowed as he shook his head furiously, droplets of water cascading from the tips of flaxen hair in an almost comical way had it been any other situation. Why did this keep happening to him? "No, Sakura-chan! Hinata-chan is not the jealous type! She knows I love her and I'm friends with you!" he protested, his voice raising in his flare of emotions, and the weakening seal on his stomach became visible, though it was unseen through his clothing. He closed his eyes tightly, clenching his teeth to control the flare of Kyuubi chakra that came with his elevated emotions. His fingers gripped tighter at the sodden material of his jacket, and he felt the moisture seeping through his hands and onto the ground below, soft pattering noises in sync with the rain reaching his ears. He disregarded it completely, the sounds around him save for his friend's voice falling upon his deafened ears. She couldn't go... He wouldn't let her! "Sakura-chan!" he called, his voice continuing to raise and the thunder rumbling in the sky added to the mood and his reason for yelling. He stumbled forward, ninja zuri splashing carelessly in the puddles adorning the cobblestone paths lining the village. "You... You can't be like that Sasuke! You can't leave us!" The Rokudaime gasped for air at the boost in energy and the raised adrenaline; his canines sharpened faintly and he cursed quietly under his breath. He would not repeat those years of worrying, waiting for his closest friend. Yet, the blonde knew... He knew he could not stop her if she wanted to leave. Blue eyes glittered with the sadness swelling within his soul, and he closed his eyes to suppress the redness from tears and the fox's chakra from spreading across his eyes. "Tell me where you're going, at least!" he choked out, still struggling forward, knees shaking. He was so weak right now; his emotions were so strong since he was small and it continued now. He would not spend the rest of his days wondered where she was. He wanted to visit; he wanted to keep a calm state of mind. The receding form of his teammate seemed to become smaller, and his eyes cracked open, pain seeming to flow through his body instead of blood. "Sakura-chan!"

Sakura took a deep breath and stopped where she was at. She realized that yes this would just be like Sasuke leaving Konoha. Just thinking about him made her so upset. She just suddenly burst out in tears. She didn't know what to do. I guess Naruto made her change her mind about leaving. She then ran and hugged him while still crying.

Naruto let his hand fall to his side again as he noted that she had stopped. His sharp candid fangs decreased in size to the usual human inscisors, and the color blue began to overcome the red threatening to flicker within his overly emotional eyes. He didn't know why he calmed at her simple stop in step; he just felt soothed by it somewhat. Perhaps his logic had won? His acute senses could hear the sounds of her crying, and his eyes swelled with a shared sadness intermingled within joyous relief, though he tried not to show it too much. Any different and sudden swings of his feelings... He didn't know why; he just considered it may upset her somehow. As she hugged him, he knew he had stopped her. For now, at least. But just even a smaller amount of time, more time to talk, discuss, and reason. Perhaps more time to figure out a proper way to say good-bye. There was so much he had to say, so much they had been through together. They had shared a bond over all these years, and it was one he didn't care to break. He carefully rested one hand on the back of her head to indicate he was fine with her crying into him, and the other was mindful of its placement- between her shoulderblades. His married and loyal mind was conscious without his voluntation to watch anything that may be suspicious. He closed his eyes and breathed a heavy sigh with the faintest of relieved yet almost wistful smiles tugged at the corners of his lips. The young Hokage could think of no words to speak, yet... He knew they were unnecessary right now.

Sakura knew that she had to stop crying. Crying was not for shinobis to show. She knew that emotions are what could possibly bring a shinobi down. She then stopped and pulled back from her hug with Naruto. She then rubbed her eyes to brush away the tears. She then took a deep breath at what she about to say.
Naruto I have thinking that maybe it's best if I don't leave. I kind of realized that was a foolish idea and that I might do something rash like Sasuke had done. I still wish for us to remain friends. It is just that maybe I need something to really clear my head of this fit I'm in.

Naruto opened his eyes again at the lack of the small sounds of her crying and at the lack of contact from the skilled young medic. He smiled encouragingly at her, faint, though, as he felt his childish antics were not welcome at the moment. He sighed mutedly. He did admire how quickly she recovered from that and how she realized how leaving so suddenly would be a mistake; it was impossible to leave so much behind, he thought. That's what he'd determined; Sasuke was just... a special case, was all, and he wouldn't lose anyone the same way again. He was pleased Sakura decided to stay. As she spoke, he inclined his head to her again. He was unsure of why they would ever stop being friends, but he shrugged it off. "Okay, Sakura-chan," he replied quietly initially, his voice trailing off, though it was now calm and collected, and he crossed his arms in reflex to the cold temperature. He knew he'd catch cold... Oh well. "You'll find something. You just have to look for it. Trust me on this one; people who have it bad in the beginning have the most as time goes on." He nodded to confirm this. He had been a rejected orphan and a demon vessel, but he found friends, strength, and the leader of his village. She just needed to look and try hard as things didn't just come people's way often. "I know, Sakura. You're strong; you'll pull through."

Sakura smiled sweetly at Naruto's response. He was right she would soon get over this feeling that she had now. She knew that she would find someone to love her like she always wanted. But she would have to wait for now. She knew it was going to be hard to overcome the feeling. But like Naruto said, she was strong in body and mind. She felt ready for anything that came her way.
Hai Naruto, you're right. I should go on with my life, for I am strong. Don't mind me I will be on my way find some old friends. Even though Sakura felt if she saw her old friends then she might go into a little meltdown. But she felt confident about this and was ready to face the challenge.

Ark was home alone, his wife was set out to a single person mission, so he went outside, even though its raining like the sky comes down.
Boredness hit Ark, and he ran around a bit, and encountered Naruto and Sakura, a smile appeared on his face, he might have something to do after all, maybe a mission? he thought.
"Hello, Naruto-sama, Sakura-chan, not a chance that there' s a mission for me?My wife's gone out, so I have nothing to do."
Awaiting Naruto's reply, Ark grabbed an energy-drink out his side-pocket, and drank it up, and started running circles, bored, and awaiting his reply.

Unfortunately Sakura couldn't do anything about this man not having a mission to do. Only Naruto could help him with that, since Naruto was the hokage. Sakura smiled sweetly thinking that now Naruto had finally achieved his dream of becoming Hokage. She wondered if settlling down was part of his plan. Anyway no matter she wouldn't worry about that. Right now she was just happy for her friend. She waited there patiently to see what Naruto would have to say.

Naruto simply flashed a grin and a 'thumbs-up' in Sakura's direction to her reply, and he had the utmost confidence that she would pull through this little mood of hers. She'd gone through much more. And she had help this time; full help, no distractions, and despite her misgivings, or even if she didn't want to be friends, it was simply in his nature to everything he could and care for her. He opened his mouth to reply, but the sense of another chakra signature alerted him, and he tensed momentarily before looking in the direction of the newcomer. The blonde blinked thoughtfully. "Hello..." he replied mutedly for once with a soft smile, adopting a more diplomatic tone since he was rather unsure of who this was- everyone knew them... The old Team Seven was just about the next well-known ninja group besides Sanin. His old nature held true, and upon his next sentence about having nothing to do and his wife, he nearly had to bit his tongue to suppress a perverted laugh- blame Jiraiya and his playful self being reawakened by speaking with old friends. He blinked again to regain his composure and shuffled his feet. "I'm sure I have something for you to do. I'll have to check." He was grateful to this shinobi; he didn't want to say he wanted to get out of the rain because in Sakura's sensitive mood, she may take offense to it.

Ark came to a clear stop when Naruto dropped his words, he almost tripped due to stopping to fast. "Alright!Something to do....At last!" "KUCHIYOSE", Ark summoned his staff, " So...you want to go on a mission...too?" " As long as there's fighting...." he replied back. " So, Naruto-sama, found anything?I hope it includes fight or a certain someone will slap me around"
